Senior-Media.com welcomes “quality” senior appropriate news releases and relevant news articles that fall into the categories found on our site. Authors and organization who have more than 10 or more articles will be considered to be listed in our “Featured Authors” Category listing.

Upon completion of the Submission Form your posting will be delivered directly to our editorial staff for approval. Please allow 7 days from the date of submission for reply of acceptance and posting of article (if approved) to our site.

Prior to submission, please read and follow the Submission Guidelines found below the Submission Form in order for your article to be consideration for publication.

ARTICLE SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Senior-Media.com welcomes the submission of Press Releases and News Articles that bear directly on Senior interests, concerns, and topics which are show in the sites categories listing. Articles which contain inappropriate language, or which may be deem suitable to the mission of Senior-Media.com online publication will not be accepted. The discussion should be acceptable to an audience across disciplines and ethnic backgrounds.

We welcome the use of visual images to illustrate the text. All images must be sized according: 72 dpi and no greater than 300 pixels in width – 350 pixels in length. All photos must have good graphic quality and appropriate content to the article.

The length of the articles is normally between 300 to 500 words but should not exceed 700 words, including abstract and notes.

Submitting an Article

  1. Articles should include the title, media contact or author’s name, short summary, body and key words, any relevant information about the author, including institutional affiliation, mailing and e-mail addresses.
  2. New articles and Press Releases for submission may be previously published, but we suggest you provide us with a unique title and summary.
  3. All submissions must be in English.
  4. Press releases and news articles should be well-written, and we encourage clarity. It is very important that articles be copy-edited carefully before submission. Drafts are NOT acceptable.
  5. In submitting materials to Senior-Media.com, authors agree to our policies, including free access and use of the material published in it with, of course, proper acknowledgment of authorship and source.

The decision of the editorial board is final. By using our form above for submission, we expect that the review process will move quickly and that authors will be notified in a reasonable time.

Our submission guidelines have been prepared to facilitate to expedite the editorial process of publishing submitted articles online. Strict adherence to formatting guidelines will allows our editors to concentrate on the content of the submission. Therefore, please observe the formatting instructions carefully.

Before submitting a Press Release or News Article, the piece should be formatted according to the following guidelines:

  1. Please complete is section of our Article Submission Form, limit your key words to fifteen (15) words separated by a comma.
  2. Number notes sequentially in the article using arabic numbers and place the notes at the end of the article.
  3. References should conform to the style displayed in the samples below under Citations and References.
  4. References in articles submitted to Senior-Media.com should conform to the formats below. For references that do not fit these forms, please follow the Chicago documentation style.
